  1. Wallace Wallace is the main character in the book, No More Dead dogs. He is known as the football star because last year he made the best play of the year. Everyone also thinks he is the most popular and cutest kid in school. All the girls love him but Wallace is a careless person. He only cares about his teammates, mom and never lying. He has and will never tell a lie. “I’m no bully, but I wasn’t in the best of moods either. Get out of my way.”Wallace said. This describes Wallace very well because he doesn’t care about anyone and doesn’t want to deal with many people.

  2. Wallace Wallace the star in Bedford is also the star in this book, "No More Dead Dogs". He is the most popular boy in school and probably in their town (12). All the girls love him and think he is the cutest (12). And he is really honest(2). He doesn't care about a lot of things but the two things he does care about is his mom and his football team. Even though his football team is like his family he doesn't want to lie on the book reoport just to play football. Which makes him stressed. But for the most part he is a fun care free guy.

His famous honesty sometimes leads to good things but can also come back to bite him. It doesn’t change the way he thinks. Wallace is athletic and enjoys football (18). Wallace is very popular and well known adolescent in his town and at school (12). Wallace loves his mom so much and would do anything to make her happy (20, 21). He is careless and doesn’t worry about what others think of him. Many of the girls at Bedford Middle School adore him and would give almost anything to be with him (12). 4. Wallace Wallace is the main character in No More Dead Dogs. He is the former football star on the school’s team the Giants. Wallace is a very honest young boy. “By then, I wouldn’t have told a lie at gunpoint,”said Wallace (3). Unlike Wallace’s father who never told the truth, Wallace is a very open boy and always has his own opinions. He is a character who is not afraid to speak the truth. Wallace is also very stubborn; he will do what he wants and how he wants it. Wallace is also a very popular, good-looking boy. “He’s hot,” Trudi Davis said. 5. Wallace Wallace is the sporty kind of a guy big star in football. He would never tell even if his life depended on it! Trudi is Rachel’s best friend and she is the flirty type of a gal. Especially around Wallace, she would do to be with him or any boy she finds. She likes the “teen” magazines where you can do quiz’s “to see if you’re in love with him or if he is in love with you”. Rachel is the actor, she loves to write to her favorite actresses and she hopes she will write back. Plus I think she loves Wallace just doesn’t realize it yet. Some events that help show this is when Rachel’s brother says “you’re working with one of the best football players out there” (Wallace).

    1. He never tells a lie, but that trait of his will get him on a month-long detention from Mr. Fogelman for his honest review of Old Shep, My Pal. He is also very creative since he came up with all the new ideas for the play (new events, dialogue, etc.) Mr. Fogelman is also quick to deny Wallace's creative side by letting him off detention, so he can no longer control the play.

  7. The traits of Wallace Wallace are mostly honesty and creativity. “For me, honesty wasn’t just the best policy; it was the only one.” He used his honesty when he was reviewing Old Shep, My Pal. He also used his creativity during his detention to improve the play through his ideas of new dialogue and new events. Eventually, Mr. Fogelman will get tired of both of these traits, and will take Wallace off of detention to regain control of the play.

  12. Wallace is practically famous in his school, but because of his complete honesty he cant play football. Instead of him playing, he must go to the drama club and ends up changing the play entirely. while he is there he makes new friends. He changes the play becuase of his other trait, which is creativity. This is another reason why he is so popular.
